Amazing Photograph

this was actually from my trip to japan post HSC. atop a roof of a shopping centre in the heart of tokyo, the lights of the urban setting and the city illuminate what is supposedly the dark night sky, no longer shrouding over the urban landscape.

The Louvre

The Louvre Pyramid and Louvre Palace in Paris is a piece of architecture that i consider to be a fusion of my two interests, the two being Art and Architecture. with the glass pyramid structure being designed in by the Chinese-American architect I.M.Pei, the Louvre pyramid is piece of architecture that in my opinion allows for a co-existence and duality of many architectural styles in one space. With there being a sense of Neo-classicism, Neo-Baroque and Napoleon 3 style merging and being complimented by a feeling of modernism that the pyramid brings to the site.

Creative Art (HSC Artwork)

This was part of my HSC artwork which was comprised of 5 A2 Charcoal drawings that was centered on the theme of mental disorders and cognitive impairments of the mind. Its just too bad that i couldn't find/access any pictures of the final works. (Note: this is one of the artworks at a stage where it wasn't finished). My series titled "The Psychological Dissonance" featured my exploration and research into the field of the human mind. Where i attempted to construct and outlet and form to express the distress and issues that people with impairments of the mind faced in their day to day lives. This particular image conveyed a sense of mental and emotional fragmentation that comes with the struggles of fighting these particular problems everyday. through my exploration and experimentation of charcoal throughout my project, at the end i became quite proficiency with the drawing medium of charcoal in terms of line work and grasped a holistic appreciation for tonal detail.
